CAR CONTROLS - Steering technique

For moderate steering on road curves (less than 90 degrees) use “pull-push” technique: for example, when steering left, grab the wheel with the left hand at 12 o’clock, release the right hand to let the wheel slide through, and pull the wheel down with the left hand to 3 to 6 o’clock (for a sharper turn, the right hand slides down the wheel as the left hand pulls down); push the wheel with the right hand towards the left hand (upwards) while the left hand jumps to 12 o’clock, and so on.

(For a sharper turn, the right hand slides down the wheel as the left hand pulls down.)
