SPEED

Check speedometer having left a motorway or freeway, and every time you meet a “Speed Limit” sign, a “Speed Camera” sign or go downhill.

On leaving a motorway (freeway), your speed may be higher than you realise.

Before looking at the speedometer make sure your car maintains a straight course (never do it in a turn) and the road is sufficiently clear ahead.

If your speed is higher than displayed on the “Speed Limit” sign, slow down to the allowed speed before the sign, not after it.
