RIGHT TURN AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS

Make sure there is no “No Right Turn” or “Left Turn Only” sign next to the traffic lights.

Despite the “No Right Turn” sign, you can see a right turning lane, meaning there are some exceptions, in this case buses (see the next close-up photo).

Right turn may also be prohibited by a “Left Turn Only” regulatory traffic sign with black left turn arrow on a vertical rectangle with white background and words “ALL TRAFFIC” or “ONLY”; both variations have identical meaning, prohibiting you from both turning right and driving straight ahead.
